Campus Compact Professional Development Institute To Be Developed Online
Campus Compact’s ground-breaking Professional Development Institute for community service and service-learning professionals is moving to an online format. As more campuses institute travel restrictions, and as new technologies make it possible to interact more effectively, Campus Compact is responding by creating a series of webinars geared toward institutionalizing civic engagement and implementing best practices in community service-learning. This new format will allow more participants to connect over a greater period of time, extending the reach of the curriculum while facilitating deeper learning. More information about this series, slated to begin this fall, will be available in the coming months. The in-person Professional Development Institute will not be held in 2009.
