MOCC is hosting a statewide colloquium for faculty, staff, students, and higher education constituents. This conference will bring together member campuses and affiiates to share resources and celebrate the successes of community engagement on college campuses. Members and non-members are welcome to attend and/or present. We anticipate that the colloquium will help fill professional development needs related to community engagement for bot novices and experts alike. Visit the colloquium website for further details, registration, and the presentation RFP.
This conference brings together individuals from across the nation to explore different perspectives on service-learning and civic engagement alongside colleagues from Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri, and Oklahoma. It will provide an opportunity for engagement professionals and community partners to share program models, best practices, and network with one another. Location rotates throughout the four states.
The Heartland Conference will be postponed until Fall 2017. In the meantime, MOCC is developing plans for a statewide event in order to fill our members’ professional development needs for the 2016-2017 year. Stay tuned for more information.
Regional Network Meetings
The purpose of the regional network meetings is to bring together higher education institutions in your region to network, share ideas, address community engagement challenges, and receive professional development. The meetings are free to attend and we would love to see faculty, staff, and administrators from our member campuses at these meetings.
